Risk / Reward Update!


Save your spare HP and turn them into extra upgrades!

I noticed people were dying quite fast after reaching the hardest difficulty, so I decided to nerf it just a tad, and also bring in a new risk/reward system, that should allow good players to reach even higher scores! You can save your spare HP in upgrade rooms, and turn them into extra upgrades! Hopefully this adds more depth to the game :)

Contents of this update:

Feature:

  • HP saving on upgrade rooms, starting from 2nd upgrade room. Three saved HPs can be turned into an extra upgrade!

Difficulty balancing:

  • Less enemies spawn on the hardest difficulty.
  • HP drops are now significantly more common.
  • HP regeneration upgrade now increases regeneration chance by +10%. (Previously was +5%. )
  • Invincibility upgrade now increases invincibility after being hit by 0.5 seconds. (Previously was 0.15 seconds.)
  • Shot speed upgrade now increases shot speed 30% more than before.
  • Boomerang enemy HP and shoot rate decreased.
  • Red ring enemy HP and ring size decreased.
  • Pink enemy speed decreased.

Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug, where no dust particles would spawn when hovering over to corners of the floor.
  • Fixed a typo.
